Teach Repentance, Baptize Converts

Hello friends and family!

I'll tell you right now that I have basically not very much time. But that's OK, right?

Basically, this week was great and we had a lot of success in finding new investigators and we have a lot of appointments set for this week as well. Sadly, not one of the new investigators went to church, but that's pretty normal for the first week; we hope to help them come to church this next week. We also got invited to a barbecue for next Monday, so that should be pretty awesome! The members here are really so awesome. They love us. :)

We also had a special worldwide transmission this week for all the missionaries. It was really amazing. It was about teaching repentance, and baptizing converts. And our main focus as a mission this transfer has actually been conversion, so it was really perfect and I felt like we were all able to get a lot out of it because we had a lot of preparation. But one thing that Elder Archibald and I took out of it, and it was also inspired by Raymond, was to challenge all the members to invite someone into their home to receive the missionary lessons. And it's actually been really well received, and although we haven't seen any results yet, I feel sure that we will. We were actually given the third hour in church next Sunday to give the challenge to everyone and inspire them and encourage them to participate in missionary work, so we have a lot of fun plans to try and take advantage of that opportunity.

There was a heat wave this week until Saturday, and it cooled down a LOT! It even rained Saturday night and Sunday morning! Which is basically unheard of here in the summer, and especially in Chillan! But it was surely a blessing for me, because I got pretty badly sunburned on Thursday. But I'm okay now and it didn't peel, so everything is going to be OK. :)

That's all for this week! I love you all a ton and hope you have an amazing week!

Con cariƱo,

Elder Robinson
