Ponder them in your heart

Hello! 

                My awesome friends and family… Another beautiful week in Chilean Paradise has come and gone. It was a way good one.

                        Anyway… Giovana went to church on Sunday! And she loved it, of course, and she really is doing awesome. They talked about tithing in Gospel Principles class and she was kind of anti at first, but said she just decided to open her heart and give it a chance, and told us this last visit that she is willing to live it, and that she wants to give with a willing heart as well. So that's awesome. Also, we left her with the commitment to speak with her husband again, so that she can get married so she can get baptized on the 5^th of December. What happened was that Julio (her bf) liked the idea but wanted to do it all big in Peru. But she told us that who knows when that could happen. So we asked her what she thought about getting married civilly first and after going to Peru to have the big beautiful dream wedding. So she talked to her husband and tried to organize it for us to go visit them both last night, and he didn't want to visit with us, but he had a hard day at work, so we'll give him another chance. ;) And she said that she's good to go to church tomorrow! Woo hoo! And it was incredible because she said a couple days ago she was thinking about how miserable it was to carry her little daughter all the way to church, and she said she recognized it was the adversary, and she knew that she had to go to church. Sweet, right? She's smarter than I am!               

                    It's amazing what extraordinary things God can do in the ordinary lives of the children He created. He did create us to be extraordinary; we just have to follow His counsel to be able to get there! I have felt really blessed these last few weeks by the presence of the Holy Spirit. Elder Quinn and I have been trying a lot harder to keep the spirit with us always, and we have seen the blessings, and the epic contrast when we fail to do so. It has made a huge difference in our lessons, in our studies, in our work here in the office, and in everything.

                I love you guys a ton, and hope you have a fantastic week.
