Mystery Solved

...probably.  So we probably found out what is wrong with me this week!  We went to the chiropractor, Dr. Jenkins. He's basically super awesome and fixes missionaries completely for free.  He took some x-rays and my atlas (small bone at the top of your spine right under your skull) was out of place.  Probably has been for a super long time.  It was throwing everything out of whack.  So the problem was, my head isn't on straight!  Haha, I know it's no surprise. :)  Anyway so he can fix it using this super magical machine that puts it in place within the regular range of motion.  For those who are interested there is a video of it on his website. www.jenkinschiropractic.com.  It's at the bottom right corner of his page and it just says YouTube.  However I saw him today and he said I am not improving as quickly as he was hoping so I might have to go back more times than he thought.  But it should still be fixed soon!  Hopefully.

I went on exchanges this past week.  It had the positive effect of making me decide that I'd rather be with my companion than the sister training leader. :)  But we had some super cool random experiences that day.  We went to a less active members house in their ward, and they were SUPER interesting people.  Their house was kind of like a weird fortress with castle looking decor as well as tribal indian sort of stuff.  The guy, brother Trotta, said he invented this instrument.  I'll include a picture.  He calls it the star harp. He played it for us and it was pretty cool.  We also had dinner at a members house.  After dinner the sister shared her conversion story with us.  It was amazing.  She was basically led to the church by members around her being excited and enthusiastic about everyday church things.  She worked in a hospital and a young man that worked there carried the Book of Mormon around in the pocket of his scrubs and was always so excited to read it on his lunch break.  Another woman she worked with talked about taking her children to mutual.  Someone else expressed their excitement for General Conference coming up.  She just couldn't figure out why everyone was so excited about these things but it piqued her interest.  Then in the newspaper there was an open house advertising to come learn about the mormons.  She also had a dream of a man sitting in a throne.  She couldn't see his face, but his hand was reached out.  After she joined the church she went to the Oakland temple to be sealed to her family.  Look up the Oakland temple-it has a pediment relief carving on the front that is Christ in the posture she saw in her dream.  It just renewed my faith that Heavenly Father prepares people, and I just need to find them.  But!  It also is a huge example of the work that members can do by just being open in the joy they experience in the gospel.

Another funny thing this week.  We were looking for an address of someone that is either inactive or a former investigator or something.  I don't remember quite but anyway it was WAY out in the mountains on these roads that kind of were crazy.  It was on Banbury Cross.  Someone remind me what that nursery rhyme is?  I couldn't remember how it went, just recognized the name.  Anyway after driving forever on this crazy road we ran into the sign below.  There's another one coming too because there were two signs but this one was the funniest. "The GPS is wrong!" haha.  So we stopped and took pictures!
