We tried to record conference but dad couldn't get the computer to do
it. While he was trying, I talked to Raymond and Nathan. Nathan is in
London now. We shopped at the Iloilo grocery store. It is small but
pretty good and not as crazy as the mall grocery stores.
Thursday
we tried to record again, this time on Andrews mac. It worked. We met
with President Aquino. Then we met with Brother Boiser about our role
here in self reliance. Then we took him to the hotel. He couldn't get
home because it is a boat ride and the storm made it too risky. We
returned to our bungalow. And made some goals.
Friday
we took President Insigne to our bungalow and then he showed us where
he lives. He is our stake president and he is the CES director here.
He doesn't have a car. We worked at the center and sent out emails to
leaders and then assisted Butch in entering names into the computer file
for comparing in 6 months for employment improvement. We worked until 7
and then made my own deep fried crepe with filling. They were good.
Saturday
we went to the mission office where the stake had priesthood session
and then we had a one hour break and then sat am session, one hour break
and sat pm session. We delivered posters to the North stake during one
of the breaks which advertised for the self reliance kick off Oct 25.
Dad sent our conference pictionary. Good luck guessing!
