Hey guys!
Hope everyone is well and that Bountiful is beautiful and snowy as ever! There's now snow to be seen here in Concepciòn. But there are a lot of Chileans anxiously awaiting the gospel. Which is almost better. ;) haha. Me and my trainer opened our area, but we are already seeing success and the ward members love us. It's honestly a blast. We gave some less active families in the ward a Christmas present containing a candle and a list of scriptures to read every day of December until Christmas about the life of Jesus Christ. It comes from a tradition that my family has and someone bore their testimony about it in Church this fast Sunday. So that was gratifying, but hopefully the members that didn't get one didn't feel bad. I only had eight candles. The food is really pretty good. And similar to ours. But they have their big meal at lunch and then just have a little snack before bed. This guy in our ward, we call him fruit guy, gives us a bag of fruit every Thursday because that's the day that the 'feria' opens. That's basically a place where all the people with gardens go to sell their fruit and vegetables for super cheap. And it's really good too. Our mission president is from Clinton, UT President Arrington, and he's a sweet guy. He'll be here my whole mission except maybe my last month or so. And can you believe Christmas is basically already here! I heard the Muppets are gonna be performing at the Christmas concert on temple square! Don't miss out on that. Have an amazing month! Enjoy the snow for me! There's not much of it here. In fact we went to the beach today to play volleyball as a zone! It was really pretty. And we buried a dog in the sand and made the sand around it look like a dolphin. Haha. That was satisfying. Much love to the best ward in the best stake in the best city in the best county in the best state!
