Haha. Oh man. This week

Hey guys!

OH man so this week, right? haha. Well it was a little too crazy to explain but the end result is that we're gonna have the baptism this next weekend. They both passed the interview, so that was good. Rayen decided that she wasn't ready yet, but Dubal is good to go. So you'll just have to wait until next week for some fat pics of that. But what happened is that the leaders decided that they couldn't do it this last weekend because it was too short notice. And to be fair it is their first baptism in over a year. So they want to do it huge and beautiful. So we just said, well... all right. We'll do it next week then. It's a little lame because he's gonna have to have the interview again because it has to be in the same week of the baptism. But he doesn't mind. He just wants to get it done now. So that's good. And this gives us one more week to try to help Rayen feel ready. Because it would be the coolest if they could do it together. But if not, the missionaries will keep passing by their house for at least the next year, because  he'll be the only recent convert. :) haha. But it was still a really good week.

Like we had Zone Conference this week! So that was a blast! And I got a package! And it was really delicious. And adorable! It was inside of a huge stocking with a bunch of real American sweets! Oh, man. They're so good! Also, if you haven't tried the oreos covered in white fudge, go eat them today. Because they are incredible. That's the challenge of the week. Eat a whole box of white fudge oreos. Just you or between the family or your friends. But do it. It changed my life, and I have the faith that it will change yours.

Also, Andres and Marcela and the fam are progressing well. Or Andres is really. The others are a little harder to teach because they have a little boy that's crazy. But what we did last time is I played with the little one while my comp taught the lesson. Not ideal, but better than not teaching anything. And we only broke one thing! and it was the silence. haha. Just kidding. Lame joke in there. But it was a good time. And I had to play with him without touching him. So that was a fun challenge. haha. Because of the mission rules. But this week I'd say more than anything what helped us find new investigators and get less actives in church was playing with kids. For example one day...

We went to visit a member but she wasn't there. But there was this little boy and some other kids trying to get inside a house across the street. And then came this dog and so I went over to protect them haha. But the dog was just fun and loves so we all started to play together and when the mom came outside the little kids asked if we would come inside and play some more. So then we did! haha. And it turned out that they were members! So that was crazy! And we get to start working with them this week!

So basically, it was a fun week. And always remember to know your strengths and use them for the good. It's not bad to know what you're good at. Me and my comp are good with kids, so we were able to use that to do the Lord's work. It's good to know what you're good at, because then you can start to think about why Heavenly Father gave that gift to you and then... well, then you're the freaking man. Like Ammon. Alma 26:12 a well known scripture. And it's because it's really good. :) I don't know what it says in English so you'll just  have to go read it. haha. But anyway...

Keep praying for Dubal and Rayen that they'll keep moving forward with faith! And have a good week! Love you all!
