Sister Charity Robinson (in book)

Sunday, July 5
We fasted specifically for Charity today.  Her biopsy will be Wednesday, July 8.  The mission nurse will accompany her.
Wednesday, July 8
Progress report on Sister Robinson.  Today she had her biopsy which went fine.  She was a little nervous but little pain.  After the biopsy the nurse took her to a follow up appointment with Dr, Spears for her headaches.  He is going to change the medication but said that was all that he could do in treatments.  His referral is to a neurologist for additional work up ( which we know that mission medical will not approve here in the field).  We are going to give this new medication a week to see if any improvement.  Sister Robinson is still inquiring about Topamax but Dr. Spears does not like the side effects and we are  calling missionary medical to see if they will approve.  The side effects are lethargic , sleepy, no motivation (He calls it dopeamax) - because it makes you feel dopey.  Not sure that it will be conducive to missionary life.  The test results on her biopsy will be back Friday or Monday and we will let you know on that
We sent her home to rest for the day.  We are sure trying to get a handle on this and feel so bad she is struggling.
