I am very perplexed right now. Just wondering why the first girl in this family wasn't assigned pink and the second girl purple. This is the natural order of things! After five girls purple was never assigned until the eighth child who is not even a girl! Does anyone have an explanation for this. Come on, I need answers! And Mom don't call me with the answer, I never get to the phone on time and when I call right back the phone rings ten times and then I get the answering machine. What do you do, Drop the phone and run away the second after you call?

Mom hated purple for a long time. Plus, it was all about what color tupperware was selling. But your right. Andrew should have had orange :) I don't know if it's right, but you know how I love making up answers!
Wow, I feel so cool. This is the first time I've ever posted on this thing. First of all, that you for the glorious humor embodied within that whole paragraph. I greatly enjoyed it. Secondly, I do believe that April is right. So way to make up answers. :) I never heard anything about mom disliking purple, but I'm pretty sure we were just assigned whichever color tupperware came out with at the time. About phone calls...hmmm...I've often wondered the same thing. I personally feel that Mom just has a twisted sense of humor and enjoys torturing anyone who calls. For the record, I'm always checking the new-found technology in our house known as the caller ID...but it really doesn't help to tell her you called. So I cannot be blamed for all this foolishness! :)

Ok, let's not make fun of the idiot who just posted 20 times...sorry! But as I have to post again to excuse my technological confusion, allow me to point out that the phone does not ring 10 times. It rings EXACTLY 4 times before the answering machine.
Aren't you all so glad I'm adding my sarcastic and long-winded comments?
Charity, if you can post the same thing 4 times and say you posted 20 I can say the phone rings ten times when it only rings 4.
Their is great need for exaggeration font oh and sarcasm font too.
So I was raised by a mother who based color descisions on what tupperware was available. That explains a lot. lol (lol just went from meaning "laugh out loud" to "I have nothing left to say." Hey, I'm not the only one that uses it like this.)
Ok, ok, you win. This is making me think that this blog should be used much more often. It's provided me with several hearty laughs that I could not have had otherwise...who knew? And lol...so over-used. I do exactly the same thing. If I have nothing to say, lol seems to be a good filler. So...lol! :)
I'm glad you two explained lol to me. I was really confused about it. Mike's sister puts it all over her emails and I kept wondering what she thought was so funny! Now I understand she just doesn't know how to transition from one thought to the next. I'm so behind when it comes to all this computer talk! I still think it's okay to write things out.
Teehee. I could hear exactly how you would have said that. Voice inflections and all. I'd never actually thought about that usage before, but I think I do it sometimes...whoops!It's kinda funny because I'm the only one I know who still capitalizes things in emails. (My age I mean). I don't bother on facebook though. It seems somehow unworthy of correct punctuation or capitalization. :)
Holy cow! I've NEVER seen so many comments on this blog before - keep it up people! April, Charity and I must totally be geeks because we insist on capitalization and using full words rather than very abbreviated abbreviations. :-) It makes me chuckle. I do use lol - but I use it when I really do laugh out loud. I guess I'm the exception rather than the rule, eh? And, I have to say it was fate that tupperware was selling yellow when it came time for me to be assigned a color. ha ha
I really do feel that we should keep it up. I'm rather enjoying it personally. The truly funny thing is...I abbreviate when I talk more than on the computer! Tee hee hee. Anyway...I am mucho excited that I shall be seeing Sarah, and Rachael quite soon. Liebe Liebe! <3<3<3
